Everyone has seen the circular disc, portable twisting, Perfect Pushup handles advertised on TV, but I’m sure you haven’t seen the Pushups Plus device. The Pushups Plus is a larger unit, but more or less like the Perfect Pushup handles only the Pushups Plus machines has resistance bands and locking pushup positions.
Ease of Use: 9/10
The Pushups Plus is as simple to use as the Perfect Pushup handles and as a bonus the Pushups Plus has locking positions so you can work out your pectoral muscles at every angle to get them the biggest they’ve ever been! Along with the locking positions, you can add up to three resistant bands that make the pushup as difficult as pushing up a barbell…only the Pushups Plus requires more stability muscles than standard barbell and free weight lifting.
Durability: 6/10
Although the Pushups Plus is made out of steel, the ball bearings that allow the handles to rotate are VERY loose feeling. Overall I may be hitting this a bit hard on the durability score, as the shakiness of the handles do ultimately force you to be even that much more stable and increase core tightness to even do a pushup.
Workout: 9/10
The various workout positions the Pushups Plus machine comes with on a sheet are very easy to follow. As I said, this machine makes you focus on real core tension as you rotate the handles and perform a pushup. I can do 100 normal pushups and this machine had me quitting at 20 on my first use! If you follow the workout plan provided with this machine, you can get some serious pecs, triceps and upper abs in no time at all.

-if you break a rubber tension band they will replace it for free
Cons:
-not portable like Perfect Pushup handles
-shaky handle bearings
-price…$49.95 for the machine isn’t bad, but shipping is expensive since it is large and made of steel
Final Verdict:
The machine is better than the Perfect Pushup handles, but the manufacturer needs to get this thing in ANY store if they want to make any money as I only found it on their website!!!
